This valve regulates gas flow to the burner assembly, ensuring safe ignition, proper manifold pressure, and stable flame performance. Mortex documentation for the G18D‑Series furnaces lists the White Rodgers 36J gas valve as the OEM valve family, and the R18KT0002 corresponds directly to this assembly.

This OEM replacement is ideal for correcting issues such as delayed ignition, weak flame, sticking solenoids, or inconsistent manifold pressure in mobile‑home and modular‑home heating systems.

Cross‑Reference Block

Cross Reference:

R18KT0002 (current OEM)

White Rodgers 36J Gas Valve (listed in Mortex G18D replacement parts)

Mortex G‑Series furnace gas valve

Manufactured‑housing furnace valve assembly

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1071/8320/files/Screenshot2026-09-21195607_623d148b-6478-42f5-be9a-79048f87cab6.png?v=1790050055
