Blacklist & Fraud Prevention Policy

HVACpartstore is committed to protecting our customers, our business, and our payment partners from fraudulent or abusive activity. To maintain a safe shopping environment, we reserve the right to restrict, refuse, or cancel orders that show signs of fraud, misuse, or repeated chargebacks.

This Blacklist & Fraud Prevention Policy explains what information we may retain, how it is used, and how we determine whether an account or individual poses a risk to our store.


1. Legitimate Business Purpose

We maintain a fraud‑prevention blacklist solely for the purpose of:

  • Preventing unauthorized purchases

  • Reducing fraudulent chargebacks

  • Protecting our payment processors and banking partners

  • Maintaining the security and integrity of our store

  • Ensuring safe fulfillment of orders

This is a standard and legally recognized business practice for online retailers.


2. Information We May Store

To identify repeat fraud attempts or patterns of abuse, we may store the following non‑sensitive information:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Shipping address

  • Billing address

  • IP address

  • Order history

  • Fraud‑analysis flags (AVS mismatch, CVV failure, high‑risk indicators)

  • Chargeback history

  • Communication history related to disputes or fraud

This information is used only to prevent repeat fraudulent activity and protect our business.


3. Information We Do Not Store

To remain compliant with privacy and data‑protection standards, HVACpartstore does not store:

  • GPS location

  • Precise geolocation data

  • Government‑issued identification numbers

  • Payment card numbers

  • Bank account numbers

  • Social Security numbers

  • Any biometric or highly sensitive personal data

We also do not purchase or use third‑party consumer databases for blacklist purposes.


4. How Blacklisting Works

An account, email, or address may be added to our internal blacklist if any of the following occur:

  • Multiple chargebacks or disputes

  • Evidence of stolen payment information

  • Repeated AVS/CVV failures

  • Attempts to bypass verification

  • Use of false identity or mismatched information

  • Abusive or threatening communication

  • Fraudulent returns or refund manipulation

  • Delivery fraud (“item not received” despite confirmed delivery)

Blacklisting may result in:

  • Order cancellation

  • Refusal of future orders

  • Requirement for additional verification

  • Mandatory signature confirmation on shipments


5. Customer Rights

If you believe you were added to our blacklist in error, you may contact us to request a review. We will evaluate the information and determine whether removal is appropriate.

We do not share blacklist information with third parties except when required by law or payment‑processor investigation.


6. Data Retention

Blacklist records are retained only as long as necessary for fraud‑prevention purposes. When no longer needed, they are securely deleted.


7. Commitment to Fair Use

HVACpartstore uses blacklist data only to prevent fraud and protect legitimate customers. We do not use blacklist information for marketing, profiling, or any unrelated business activity.

This is a list of scammers that we do not do business with, we collect the information and set up our computer system to watch for orders that contain the same address, email, phone number from the past if they are on the list of blacklisted customers the computer will reject check out.

 The list of scammers is shared in a data base of small business organizations, eCommerce small business owners, Amazon, TEMU, eBay Etsy, Whatnot, Google, Online shopping network and more.

 

   If you have an order that had been rejected and returned because of past fraud or Chargeback issues, please contact us via email to see if we can resolve the past issues and move forward. 

We have the right to refuse the sale of products to anyone!
