The quick fix bathtub repair kit contains one 6″x12″ piece of repair tape, sandpaper and instructions to ensure a quality repair.

Installation Instructions

1. Prepare surface by removing all dirt, grease, tar, oil etc. Surface must be dry and warm.
2. Drill a 1/4″ hole at both ends of the crack to help keep it from cracking any further.
3. Cut tape to cover crack. Tape should extend a minimum of 1″ beyond all sides of the crack. Cut all corners round.
4. Lightly scuff area with enclosed sandpaper. Wipe surface clean with a damp cloth and let dry.
5. Remove liner from back of tape to expose adhesive.
6. Place tape over crack and smooth.
7. Allow glue on back of tape to cure for 2-3 hours before using tub or shower.

Real life endorsement update: 7/2/2018 We did some testing on a fiberglass speed boat on the Colorado river near Yuma, AZ the speed boat had a 1 1/2" Hole from a sharp rock and I gave my friend a Crack tub repair kit so he could still use his boat during the 4th of July weekend, we put the boat back on the trailer to dry out and installed the patch over the hole in the his boat on the outside near the keel, he left it dry overnight and took it out the next day and ran the boat 80 plus MPH and had the boat in the water multiple days with no water leaking in the boat!
