The Suburban 525024 Sail Switch Kit is the OEM airflow‑proving safety switch used in Suburban RV furnaces. Before the furnace can ignite, the blower must move enough air to lift the “sail” and close the switch. This ensures safe combustion, prevents overheating, and protects the heat exchanger. If airflow is weak or restricted, the switch stays open and the furnace will not light making this one of the most common failure points in “blower runs but no ignition” service calls.
