This gasket kit seals the burner cover access plate on Suburban SF‑series and SHD‑series furnaces. That cover must remain airtight to maintain proper combustion airflow, prevent exhaust recirculation, and ensure stable ignition. Any time the burner cover is removed for service, Suburban specifies replacing this gasket to maintain a proper seal.

The kit is the current replacement for older part 071263, which appears in legacy service manuals.
