Compatibility
-
Nordyne, Nordyne Miller, Intertherm, and private-label gas furnaces originally equipped with a dual-pressure switch rated for –0.10" WC vacuum and 0.70" WC positive pressure
-
Confirm the furnace’s data-plate requirements and tubing routing before ordering
Technician Notes
-
Shut off all power and gas before beginning service.
-
Remove the furnace access panel to expose the existing pressure switch.
-
Label or photograph tubing and spade-terminal assignments for reference.
-
Depress the switch’s mounting clip to release it; disconnect barbed tubing and quick-connect leads.
-
Snap the new 632550R into the bracket, push tubing onto the 1/4" barbs, and reconnect spade terminals.
-
Restore power and call for heat; verify the switch closes near –0.10" WC on inducer startup and opens at 0.70" WC positive pressure.
-
Use a manometer to confirm setpoints and check for any tubing leaks or blockages that could cause false readings.
