The IG1411N Nitride Igniter is a high‑durability hot‑surface igniter designed as a universal replacement for many Amana, Rheem, and Trane furnaces. Nitride igniters offer significantly longer life than older silicon‑carbide styles, with faster heat‑up times and improved resistance to cracking, vibration, and thermal shock.
