Technician Notes

• Cut all power and shut off gas supply before servicing the unit.

• Remove the furnace access panel to expose the existing limit switch on the blower compartment or heat exchanger jacket.

• Photograph or label the quick-connect terminals to capture original wiring orientation.

• Depress the mounting clip to release the old switch, then pull the spade connectors off the terminals.

• Snap the new 626611 switch into the bracket and push the spade terminals onto its 1/4″ male lugs.

• Restore power and run the furnace through a heat cycle. Confirm blower de-energizes at approximately 130 °F and re-energizes near 110 °F.

• Use an infrared thermometer or surface probe to verify accurate trip/reset points and inspect for airflow restrictions that might trigger nuisance trips.
